Climate science is a relatively easy science. We know the causes behind our worsening climate catastrophes, and we know what must done to prevent future climate catastrophes. We are well past the point of denying or questioning the science.
Seventeen years ago in 2006 – Al Gore produced the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth', which served notice that we would soon experience a variety of climate problems if our neglect of planet Earth was not quickly addressed.
Unfortunately, energy needs, a growing human population, divisive politics, disinformation, weak leadership and an unwillingness to make sacrifices are steering us directly toward ever worsening climate problems.
This past year, 2023, is the year that our climate has really turned the corner and created an incredible and unprecedented variety of disasters in all parts of the planet. Still, society is largely in denial about climate change. For those who do understand what we are facing, most are unwilling to make the sacrifices necessary to repair the climate. To make matters worse, our world leaders are years away from working together on this matter.
Global Warning Films consists of just a few neighbors who have come together to do whatever part we can do to get people involved in dealing with the climate problem. We are completely self-funded, paying all our expenses ourselves. We hope you enjoy our short films, share your thoughts with us, spread the word, and strive to make Earth as good a place for all our descendants as it has been for us.

Too Much Spent on Military Aircraft and Nuclear Bombs???
Our military has over 13,000 aircraft. Putting that into perspective, if you sat your lawn chair in front of a runway with a plane taking off every minute for 24 hours a day, you’d be there over nine days. In comparison, Russia and China each have 2,000 to 3,000 military aircraft.
Our problem-plagued F-35 fighter jet costs over $40,000 PER HOUR to operate, which adds up to a fortune due to number of hours pilots need to practice. Given that these planes don’t see combat use as they would escalate a conflict, billions if not trillions of dollars have largely been wasted.
And now that we have 4,000 of them, let’s stop making nuclear bombs. It only takes a handful to make planet Earth uninhabitable for humans. Somebody needs to ask why we’ve ordered so many, at what cost, and who profits the most from making these killing machines.
I know it won’t be my Congressman Mike Garcia – a former fighter pilot and Raytheon employee - who votes for every defense bill while denying the 2020 election results.
I’ll stop here but not before requesting an investigation
into the Navy’s Zumwalt destroyer boondoggle.
